Virgin Media UK Extends WiFi to 250 London Underground Tube Stations
Cable operator Virgin Media has quietly announced that their UK network of public WiFi Hotspots has once again been expanded to cover an additional 100 London Underground Tube stations (total 250).
Customers of Virgin Media, as well as those of O2, EE, Three UK and Vodafone that have signed related agreements to access the network, are able to use the WiFi service for free (without restriction). Meanwhile everybody else has the option of paying £2 a day, £5 per week or £15 for a monthly pass.

In addition, Transport for London (TfL) reports that users of the network are now gobbling 20TB (TeraBytes) of data per day, which is up sharply from last year when 3TB was more normal.
