UK ISP WarwickNet Bring Ultrafast Broadband to Businesses in Milton Keynes

Alternative network provider WarwickNet (CableCom) has announced the imminent completion of 12 new Street Cabinets in Milton Keynes (Buckinghamshire, England), which will be used to bring ultrafast capable fixed line broadband services to local business parks and industrial estates.

The new cabinets are due to go live from the end of February 2017 and these will then be used to service business parks and industrial estates in Tilbrook, Caldecotte, Chesney Wold, Linford Wood, Tanners Drive, Tongwell and Wymbush.

Local firms can then expect to receive a choice of several different connectivity products, such as FTTC and 100Mbps FTTP broadband services or Gigabit Leased Lines (Ethernet).

The new network was partly deployed by using Openreach’s (BT) Physical Infrastructure Access (PIA) solution, which allowed the ISP to build their own infrastructure faster and more efficiently by harnessing the national operator’s existing cable ducts and poles.
