Broadband ISP Brsk, which has so far built a full fibre network to cover 100,000 UK premises (up from 70,000 in Sept 2022), has today confirmed that they won’t be increasing contract prices for the remainder of 2023. Furthermore, all current in-contract customers won’t have a price increase across their 24-month contracts.
The operator, which last year secured a huge funding boost of “up to” £178m (here), is currently deploying a new gigabit-capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband network across parts of Greater Manchester, Lancashire, West Yorkshire and the West Midlands in England (e.g. Cottingley, Keighley and Bingley, Clayton, Allerton & Sandy Lane, Bradford, Queensbury, Thornton, Accrington and many more).
However, Brsk today said that they’re bucking the current industry trend of massive price hikes, not least by committing that “existing brsk customers have never and will never see an unexpected in-contract price hike.” The provider has also committed to keeping their current new-contract pricing the same for the remainder of 2023.

Giorgio Iovino, CEO of Brsk, said:
“To us, there are only two things more important than offering our customers an incredible internet connection: excellent service and fair treatment. We’re proudly transparent with regards to our pricing so our customers always know what they’ll pay – throughout their entire contract. We’re also aware of the financial struggles many people are facing and think we should do our part to keep the cost of living more manageable.”
The provider’s longer-term aim is to pass 1 million homes by 2026, but they’ll require much more funding in order to reach that. Nevertheless, progress has been good during 2022, not least due to having reached 100,000 premises within the first 20-months. The provider has also reported 5,000 connected customers, which is small but unsurprising given their rapidly accelerated pace of build (take-up takes time to grow and a rapid build suppresses such figures).
The part of the west Midlands we live in has disappeared off the map for upcoming connectivity, however the post code checker still shows its coming soon.
Hi Shaukat, I’m Head of the West Midlands I’m happy to say I also live here! We haven’t dropped off the map and I’d love to share our plans with you.
