Internet provider Nufibre appears to have expanded beyond their existing eSIM powered virtual mobile operator plans by launching an alternative 5G based home broadband package with “unlimited data“, which will set you back from just £25 per month with their “next-generation” Wi-Fi 7 router (or £22.50pm if you’re happy with a Wi-Fi 6 router).
The pricing above reflects a 24-month minimum term contract (12-month and 1-month terms are available at extra cost) and Nufibre states that the service should deliver “expected speeds 100-800Mbps“, which reflects the fact that mobile network performance can vary like the wind.
All of the “plans include unlimited data“, although Nufibre doesn’t hide the fact that this is still subject to a monthly 750GB (GigaByte) Fair Usage Policy (FUP), which is a similar approach to other mobile operators (but most of those tend to conceal this in their small print). However, some other operators often set their soft FUP cap at a little lower than 750GB (e.g. c.600GB), so there’s a bit more flexibility here.

You’ll also receive either a ZTE G5B2 Wi-Fi 6 or ZTE G5 Air Wi-Fi 7 router (5G Hub) with your order. Just remember to return this if you cancel, otherwise they’ll charge you £100 (again, other providers often hide this in their small print, but not Nufibre).
Martin Gardner, CEO at Nufibre, said:
“We’re excited to launch Nufibre 5G Mobile Broadband from just £25 per month, giving customers another way to get fast, reliable internet without the complexity of a traditional fixed-line installation.
This complements our growing range of connectivity services, including Multigig, Full Fibre, SoGEA, eSIMs and now 5G Mobile Broadband.
By including a Wi-Fi 7 router, we’re giving customers access to the latest generation of wireless technology from day one. Whether it’s streaming, working from home, gaming or simply keeping the whole household connected, Nufibre 5G Mobile Broadband is designed to provide a straightforward and flexible broadband experience.”
Nufibre can also offer next-day delivery, meaning customers can get connected quickly without waiting for an engineer or a new fixed line to be installed (subject to the usual caveats of availability, order cut-off times and delivery location).
