PlusNet’s Bank Holiday Offer – 12 Months Free UK Unlimited Broadband

Budget ISP PlusNet has launched a new promotion on their ‘up to’ 17Mbps unlimited broadband and free UK weekend calls package, which between 1st and 5th May 2015 will be offered completely free for the first 12 months of service to new customers (£9.99 per month thereafter) with £75 cashback.

The provider’s Bank Holiday special offer also requires you to take their Phone Line Rental service, which costs from the equivalent of £12.99 per month when pre-paid in advance for a year or £15.95 as a standard monthly charge.

Otherwise the package is based off a 12 month contract and also includes a free wireless router, free activation, McAfee Internet security and PlusNet SafeGuard (parental controls / website blocking etc.). Anytime UK calls can be added for an extra £5 per month and for another £2 on top of that you get 300 Anytime minutes to the top 35 international destinations.

As usual customers who live out in some remote rural areas may have to pay a bit more due to their residing outside of the ISPs “low cost area“. As a side note the ISP are also still offering their Unlimited Fibre Broadband (up to 38Mbps) service with included evening + weekend calls free for the first 6 months of service (returning to £14.99 a month thereafter).
