Cardiff-based UK ISP Spectrum Internet has unanimously won the best Communications Provider of the Year gong at this year’s annual FCS Industry Awards 2012, which is a Trade Association for businesses that deliver communications products and services to customers in the UK by radio, mobile, fixed and IP telephony.
It was apparently the first time that Spectrum Internet had even entered an award, which resulted in them beating off stiff competition from both Entanet (Runner up) and Gradwell Dot Com to win the top spot.

Jacqui Brookes, CEO of the Federation of Communication Services, said:
“Many congratulations to all the award winners and runners up who in their diverse ways have demonstrated innovation and customer service in the competitive world of UK communications services. Each of the awards was judged by a panel of industry players and representatives from the regulator or academia.”
Spectrum Internet’s Operations Director, Kevin Herbert, added:
“We feel extremely honoured for our achievements to be counted amongst the other service providers who were FCS award finalists. It’s been an incredible year for Spectrum Internet and the success must be attributed to our hardworking teams in the Chepstow and Cardiff offices that have helped drive the business forward, providing new and exciting solutions and excellent customer service.”
The ISP has also been nominated for the Best New ISP gong at this year’s forth coming ISPA UK 2012 Awards.
