Sky UK Bundles Cheaper Superfast Fibre Broadband with Extra TV and Calls

Friday, August 31st, 2012 (11:31 am) - Score 1,526

Sky Broadband (BSkyB) has today launched its first triple-play bundle of their new superfast 38Mbps capable Sky Fibre Unlimited (FTTC) service with free weekend calls and the Entertainment Extra TV package at just £30 a month for the first 6 months (£46.50 thereafter), which includes a £100 M&S voucher.

The bundle, which is only available to new customers, also includes free activation with a free Sky+ TV box and free installation. Subscribers will also need to take the Sky Line Rental (£14.50 a month) service and a 12 month contract applies.

Sky’s Entertainment Extra TV, Fibre Unlimited & Weekend calls Bundle
* Download speeds of up to 38Mbps
* Truly Unlimited Usage
* Included Weekend calls to UK landlines (Add £5 for Anytime calls)
* Unlimited/FREE Access to UK Wi-Fi Hotspots from The Cloud
* Included Connection Hardware + Sky Wireless N Router
* 12 month trial of McAfee Internet Security Suite
* Sky Entertainment Extra (52 extra TV channels)
* FREE Activation
* FREE Sky+ TV Box and Installation
* Included £100 Marks and Spencer’s Voucher

It’s important to note that Sky’s latest bundle is only available to around 40% of the UK, where BT’s Fibre-to-the-Cabinet (FTTC) technology has been installed and Sky’s unbundled (LLU) broadband platform is also available, although coverage is growing every week and should reach at least 66% by 2014. The new offer is only available to interested subscribers until September 27th 2012.
