Local ISP Expands 64Mb Wireless Broadband to Ufford and Little Waldingfield

Wireless ISP County Broadband has once again extended the reach of its Next Generation Community Access (NGA) network, which can deliver residential broadband speeds of up to 64Mbps (Megabits per second), to two rural villages – Ufford and Little Waldingfield – in Suffolk (England, UK).
Prices start from £9.99 inc. VAT per month for a basic 4Mbps (4Mbps DL / 4Mbps UL) service with a 1GB usage allowance (£99 for a one-off basic installation), although a slower community service is also available for FREE (0.5Mbps with a 500MB data cap). It should be said that County Broadband’s service offers symmetric speeds and thus the top 64Mbps service is actually an aggregate, which means that it offers 32Mbps downloads and 32Mbps uploads for £34.99.
In addition Little Waldingfield (CO10 postcode area) currently only has “partial broadband coverage” with limited speeds of up to 10Mbps. This is a preliminary service and will be improved with a forthcoming network upgrade that should boost coverage and bring it up to speed with their NGA service.
