Fixed wireless broadband ISP VFast (Orbitalnet), which covers a large swathe of Kent in South East England, has partnered with internet voice provider Vonage to offer residential Voice-over-IP (VoIP) services and cheaper UK or international calls.
On the surface the packages being offered appear to be more or less identical to Vonage’s default options, which start at £5.99 a month for unlimited UK calls (note: this is currently discounted to £3.99 for the first 3 months plus a £25 gift card). Various other options with international calls are also available.

However VFast has informed ISPreview.co.uk that their prices will “shortly” be changing and customers can also benefit from a dedicated line to call Vonage. On top of that the ISP said that its customers won’t have to wait for a box in the post and instead its “service will be installed and configured by a vfast engineer“.
The solution (http://www.vonage.co.uk/vfast) is seen as being significantly cheaper than conventional fixed line services, albeit only assuming you’re brave enough to give up that old landline.
