RootMetrics Say EE are the Best for Mobile Broadband in London UK

Tuesday, June 4th, 2013 (10:27 am) - Score 1,100

RootMetrics has labelled EE as the fastest Mobile Broadband operator in London (England), as well as the best for text messages and calls, after it steamed past distant rivals like Three UK to record the best overall performance.

The study conducted 83,000 mobile performance tests and also looked at other areas of mobile connectivity, such as network reliability. Both 3G and 4G services were tested and EE, which has the unique advantage of being the first to market with a national 4G platform (excluding some niche fixed wireless providers), came top.

But in terms of Network Reliability it was Three UK that yet again managed to come top by scoring 97.8 out of 100, while EE was second on 97.2, followed by O2 with 94.6 and sadly Vodafone once again came bottom of the pile with 92.3. Never the less it’s clear that EE are currently delivering the best speeds and the difference is significant.
