It’s that time of the year again. Budget ISP TalkTalk has just confirmed that the standard price of its broadband and phone line rental service (outside of discounts) are set to rise once again from 1st October 2013, which will bring some of their costs into line with BT.
The first big change is in line rental, which will rise from £14.95 a month now to £15.40. But we note that there’s no mention of a rise for TalkTalk’s Value Line Rental option, which costs the equivalent of £9.50 a month when paid 12 months in advance (total £114).
