Internet provider Andrews and Arnold (AAISP) has once again doubled the default data usage allowance on its Home Broadband (Home::1) package from 50GB (GigaBytes) to 100GB at no extra cost, with the package remaining at a price of £25 inc. VAT per month.
The package originally launched late last year with an allowance of just 25GB and this was promptly doubled to 50GB. The service also includes a free wireless router with IPv6 support and one IPv4 address. Advanced features like proactive line monitoring and line bonding are also supported.

Adrian Kennard, AAISPs Director, said:
“Since launch around a year ago, Home::1 has been very popular. However, as people utilise streaming television, film and music services more and more, they are obviously going to see increased download usage. The allowance increase recognises this – and in a meaningful way. We hope it will prove popular with customers; both existing and potential.”
A top-up of 50GB can also be added for +£10 and the same goes for the optional phone line. Customers can similarly take a superfast broadband (FTTC) connection with speeds of up to 40Mbps (10Mbps uploads) for +£10 and another +£5 on top of that will get you up to 80Mbps (20Mbps uploads). Take note that there’s a £100 installation fee for the FTTC/P service and £50 for new ADSL lines.
The move, which will come into force from tomorrow, should help to make AAISP’s home package more competitive with the wider market.
