WiSpire Expand Church Based Wireless Broadband to North Tuddenham

The WiSpire network has once again worked alongside the Diocese of Norwich and local ISP FreeClix to expand the reach of its wireless broadband network even further into rural Norfolk (England, UK). The latest civil parish village to benefit is that of North Tuddenham.
WiSpire’s platform typically works by installing wifi transmitters on top of church spires, which are then used to distribute the service out into the community.
Prices tend to start at £13 per month (£59 to install) for an entry-level 4Mbps (0.5Mbps uploads) package that includes a small usage allowance of 2GB on a 30 day contract, while the top service will set you back £25 for an 8Mbps connection and “unlimited” use. It may not be fast but for those living with sub-1Mbps or no connectivity it can be a godsend.
