Keycom (Media Force), a specialist supplier of high-speed broadband for students, the armed forces, key-workers, housing associations and some homes around the United Kingdom, has acquired an ISP that is responsible for serving six RAF bases in England – TriCommunications Ltd.
Keycom’s CEO, Meri Braziel, said: “The acquisition of TriCommunications further strengthens our Media Force footprint to over 30,000 rooms. Superfast broadband and WiFi are a major benefit for the modern UK service personnel. It is a vital communication tool for members of the armed forces who may be many miles away from their family and friends on isolated bases.”

Last year Keycom also reached an agreement with CityFibre to help connect a student accommodation building in the city of York (England) to a local FTTP/H network (here). Most recently the operator has also teamed up with Vision Fibre Media in order to help deploy “ultra-fast” broadband speeds of up to 1000Mbps (Megabits per second) out to residents of the Kings Chelsea development in London (here).
