CloudScape Connect to Bundle Asus Routers with Broadband

Tuesday, January 12th, 2016 (1:54 pm) - Score 1,202

Little known ISP CloudScape Connect has reached a new “Gold Partnership” agreement with computer hardware and electronics company Asus, which should enable them to provide related communications equipment (e.g. routers) to their new broadband subscribers.

The ISP reports that it has already started to supply customers with pre-configured Asus DSL-N17U Wireless (N spec) Modem Routers, which tend to cost around £70 in the shops and provide compatibility with ADSL, ADSL2+ and VDSL (FTTC) “fibre broadband” services.

Robert Harrison, Managing Director of Cloudscape, said:

We are delighted to have secured this partnership with ASUS and we look forward to enhancing our customer experience through the provision of these leading communication technologies.”

We couldn’t find much information on CloudScape Connect’s website, although they do offer an optional router to new customers for £45 a pop.

Been offering it for a couple of months now since I started looking at them.

Quizzed them about some technical aspects and their sales team yet to get back to me 🙁

Also got someone on Twitter who is with them to do a speedtest, ISP shows as ETICO Logistics..didn’t ETICO run into a couples of issues previously?

  2. Hi SpencerUk

Thanks for the comments and interest!

With regard to the tech aspects, we would be delighted to speak with you again. As we are relatively new in the market and developing our procedures, I think the hold-up was due to Confidentiality issues – you work for Zen Internet right?

In the meantime, the ETICO reference is a legacy issue from when we purchased their assets so nothing to worry about.

Correct. I ended up ordering the backup line with someone else in the end (Offered free 80/20 for 12 months on an 18 month deal…can’t really grumble at that) because i didn’t get a response. Will consider you again when its time for renewal though.

be watching you guys with interest over the next 12/18 months 🙂

Hopefully very soon I shall be able to get FTTC and have been looking at Cloudescape Connect Ltd.
As you seem to have a presence on here who would be the best person to contact regarding any queries I might have.
Sorry if I have spoke out of turn and diverted away from the original post
