Communications provider EE has refreshed and tweaked their range of fixed line Home Broadband and phone bundles, although most of the changes remain fairly small and others reflect a wider choice of calling options and TV add-ons.
As before all of the packages are subject to an 18 month contract term and the standard line rental charge of £17.50 inc. VAT per month must also be added on top of the broadband fee, although you can save a bit of money by pre-paying for 12 months line rental (total £189); this equates to the equivalent of £15.75 per month.

Customers will also receive an included BrightBox wireless router (BrightBox 2 on fibre), which costs £7 to deliver. The superfast “fibre broadband” packages also attract a £50 one-off setup fee, although this is currently being offered at half-price (£25). Take note that EE charges £60 if you need a new phone line installed.
On top of that we should add that existing EE Mobile customers who sign-up to Home Broadband will benefit from a 5GB data boost. The ISP also offers a £50 Cancellation Credit, which is designed to help cover the cost of leaving your existing ISP before the contract is finished (doing this often attracts a leaving fee). Otherwise the main packages are as follows.
EE also offers a range of ‘up to’ 76Mbps Fibre Plus (FTTC) packages for those that can receive them, which start at £18 a month for the first 18 months (£22 thereafter) + line rental with weekend calls. Anytime calls, including 1,500 minutes to UK mobiles and inclusive calls to 40 International Landlines, can also be added to any of the above packages for an extra £6.50 per month.
