Sky (Sky Broadband) has cut the price of their ‘up to’ 17Mbps entry-level unlimited broadband and phone package again, dropping the monthly rental to just £15 for the first 12 months of service (£28.99 thereafter). The counter to this is that their £100 Prepaid MasterCard offer has ended.
Customers of Sky Broadband’s packages can expect to receive a wireless router (Sky Q Hub on the Sky Fibre Max product), Sky Talk line rental (standard UK call rates), unlimited access to WiFi hotspots from The Cloud, Sky Shield (Parental Controls and Anti-Malware), nuisance call blocking, unlimited usage and Sky Yahoo Email.
Sky also offers a 30 day broadband and talk Satisfaction Guarantee, although this refund only applies to subscription charges (not set-up charges or non-inclusive call charges) and is pro-rated. The ISP’s current broadband promotions are as follows.

We should remind readers that Sky also has a stealthy 52Mbps FTTC package (Sky Fibre Unlimited Plus), which is usually offered to Sky Fibre Max subscribers that struggle to hit the package’s minimum Download Speed Guarantee of 55Mbps. This option tends to be -£2.50 per month less than the normal Sky Fibre Max price (here).
