Thousands of letting agent customers of Let Alliance now have access to offer a mix of superfast broadband and TV services, which can be supplied to their tenants, thanks to a new deal with Sussex-based ISP Home Telecom (owned by energy and telecoms provider Spark).
Through letting agents who sign up, tenants can access Sky TV packages linked to the length of their tenancy alongside ADSL2+ or superfast FTTC based broadband services (Openreach’s UK network) that are live in time for move in (broadband contracts can be as short as 30 days). The letting agents (around 2,000 of them) will also generate some extra incremental income for their businesses.
Ian Crowther, Spark’s Commercial Director, said:
“This deal is fantastic news for Home Telecom, collaborating with such a high-profile brand which is doing great things in the home move sector.
Like us, Let Alliance is committed to adding value to letting agents and making life easier for tenants. So, this is a great opportunity for the company to showcase its value to landlords, letting agents and tenants, providing a range of packages created for convenience, value and quality of service.
We’re really pleased to have agreed a partnership with Let Alliance.”
Spark acquired Home Telecom last year (here), creating one of the few multi-utility company’s aimed specifically at the home move market.
