Full Fibre UK Provider ITS Launches New Wholesale Division

The ITS Technology Group (its.), which manages and builds a number of fibre optic and hybrid wireless broadband ISP networks across parts of the UK, appears to have split off its wholesale “full fibre” business into a new division with the imaginative title of ITS Wholesale.

At present ITS, which earlier this year secured a funding boost of £45m from Aviva Investors (here), plans to expand their network coverage to reach 200,000 additional homes and businesses over the next few years. As part of that they’re now also working with resellers, carriers and other operators in the UK telco sector to make their “Faster Britain” branded full fibre network available to more customers and partners.

The company’s indirect channel offering has grown up alongside this rollout and ITS will soon be launching a new API and portal to integrate with their partners’ own back-end systems. Meanwhile ITS has appointed Philip Lee to help run the new division as their new Head of Wholesale.

Prior to joining ITS in May last year, Lee worked for some of the UK’s biggest telecoms businesses including Daisy Group and Virgin Media (Business). Meanwhile another new hire, Bindi Kaur, will take on the role of Wholesale Account Manager.
