The Connected Britain Awards 2021 (Total Telecom) event last night revealed the winners of this year’s competition, which for example saw broadband ISP Hyperoptic pick up the win for the “Broadband Provider of the Year” category and CityFibre take home the “Project Rollout Award“.
All the organisations that entered – spanning across various different categories – were assessed by a panel of sixteen judges, which included key figures from the Broadband Stakeholders Group (BSG), Total Telecom, the UK Government, analyst firms, consultants and various other companies with industry links.
The winners were revealed at an event in London last night, which was the first time the annual Connected Britain conference had taken place since the COVID-19 crisis began. At the time of writing, we haven’t yet been sent the usual description for why each operator or company won their respective awards, but that should soon follow and some you can guess.
