London-focused broadband ISP CommunityFibre, which has already covered 307,000 UK homes (and 12,000 businesses) with their 3Gbps capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) network, has discounted their package prices and doubled the speed on two of their ultrafast products for new customers.
The new deals will be available to order from now until 14th October on their 24-month contract term option. For example, their 150Mbps (symmetric speed) product is currently priced at £25 per month for 24-months (£29.50 thereafter) and you’ll now also benefit from a speed boost to 300Mbps, until the end of the term. You can get the new deals on a shorter 12-month term too, but this costs a little extra.
New customers can also expect to receive a free installation, a Dual-band MESH WiFi router, symmetric speeds, unlimited usage and there’s also a pledge of “no mid-contract price rises.” The 1Gbps package also gives you two “routers” for a mesh WiFi system, while their top 3Gbps tier comes with a high-end WiFi 6 router from Zyxel.
The move means that their 50Mbps package now costs just £20 per month for the first 24 months of service (£25 thereafter), while 150Mbps 300Mbps costs £20 per month (£29.50 thereafter), 400Mbps 800Mbps costs £35 per month (£40 thereafter), 1Gbps costs £49 per month (£54 thereafter) and their top 3Gbps tier is still £99 per month (£110 thereafter).
Always on offer very cheap download and upload speeds same
…but you have to put up with CGNAT or buy a massively expensive business package to get a static IP.
They only have ~66,000 IPv4 addresses, if they gave them out for £20 per month then they’d struggle to run a viable business. I don’t deny that their business packages are expensive, but there are plenty of cheaper options available (e.g. making better use of IPv6, A&A’s L2TP VPN, …).
CGNAT is only on their two lowest speeds…i can confirm on the 400, 1gb and 3gb plans you get proper ipv4
You forgot to mention they removed the 30 day contract option :/
30 days contracts are still available on their site
