UK ISP Sky Broadband has today kicked off their “Black Friday” discounts by further reducing the price of their “Superfast Broadband” (59Mbps down – FTTC/P) package to just £25 per month and introducing free setup (normally £19.95). On top of that, their optional WiFi Guarantee add-on is now £3 instead of £5 per month.
New customers can expect to receive the latest SkyBroadband Hub (SR203) router, a VoIP based home phone service, parental controls, nuisance call filtering and unlimited usage. The packages also come attached to Sky’s Speed Guarantee, which will enable customers to claim money back if the connection performance drops below the guaranteed download rate (for 3 consecutive days or more).
As for the WiFi Guarantee, this pledgeds to ensure WiFi at speeds of at least 3Mbps in every room (special signal boosters may be sent to you) and if it can’t deliver on that then you get your money back for the boost. The add-on also includes daily broadband line checks to help identify problems, an engineer visit at no extra cost (if necessary) and a 2GB Piggybank boost for Sky Mobile customers if your broadband drops out at any point.
