Lancashire-based business communications provider and UK ISP Daisy Group has today officially acquired another IT and telecoms firm in the form of Communicate Better for an undisclosed sum. The move follows their recent acquisitions of broadband provider XLN Group and Premier Choice Telecom Ltd.

I am delighted with the acquisition of Communicate Better,” said Dave McGinn, Daisy Communications CEO. “This is a promising partnership to add to our flourishing portfolio, increasing our footprint in telephony products, enhancing our Microsoft relationship, and accruing telematic products. I am excited to welcome our new colleagues and customers to the Daisy family and to continue our journeys together.”

The Daisy Group is currently home to around 200,000 customers, as well as over 850 employees and revenues of more than £200m.

Good someone needs to sort BT out – they refuse to install to many houses in Easter Compton as they can’t install a ladder in the wall – And the other areas got the same. I drove through Easter Compton earlier and saw some barriers going up.

I had the misfortune of having to deal with Daisy as a result of an acquisition by the company I work for, I could never recommend them, we have only recently finally got rid of then.
Maybe they’ll buy or merge with M24/7 next? Another (once excellent ISP) that has in recent times become a complete shambles.

I sit on the Enterprise side – but in the 9 months it took to install my line they were rubbish at comms. I had engineers turning up without notice and maybe once every 2-3 months I had an update… I haven’t had to use the support yet in over a year but if I do I hope they will be more responsive.
