Users of the NetgemTV service, which usually ships to UK consumers as part of a set-to-box based Pay TV bundle from their broadband ISP, may be pleased to learn that they’ve added 15 additional channels to their platform “at no extra cost“. In addition, they’ve added 10 new games to their recently launched video game hub (total of 30).

Excluding direct customers, the ISPs that support NetgemTV’s service currently include TalkTalk, CommunityFibre, Lothian Broadband, Brawband, Pop Telecom, Air Broadband, Inspire, Box Broadband, PureFibre, InternetTY, Octaplus, Link Broadband, Pure Telecom, Be Smart and Wightfibre.

The latest “content boost” on Netgem TV flows from direct partnerships with large entertainment houses, such as Banijay and Narrative Entertainment. This includes seasonal channels, like Great!Christmas, as well as Deal Or No Deal US, PBS America for documentaries, POP Kids for children and more.

Sylvain Thevenot, Chief Commercial & Customer Officer at Netgem, said:

“Our priority at Netgem TV is always to bring the best entertainment at the lowest price to UK viewers, which is particularly important in those times of wallet crunch. We are delighted to see our ISP partners such as TalkTalk bring even more value to their customers through fantastic Content brands added just in time for Christmas.”

Take note that some of the new channels haven’t fully launched yet, but they are due to go live by the end of this month.

I hope no-one actually PAYS for Netgem. The content looks atrocious!

    1. Avatar photo MilesT says:

Some of that content is on YouTube anyway. Just buy a Roku or a chromecast, or use your SmartTv. ANd 5 minute crafts is much debunked for their crafts that don’t work because they are faked.

Yes, it certainly does. PBS America, how many people in the UK would be interested in that?

Netgem – No way! No chance!

ISP’s sign up I’m sure just for the sake of offering triple (or quad) play.

    1. Avatar photo MilesT says:

Most ISPs would be better off bundling a streaming device for new customers.

Its slow , and much better premium alternatives . Better off spending out on Sky instead to be honest

    1. Avatar photo Ad47uk says:

Has to be bad if Sky is better.

5 minute crafts… the Youtube channel that shows you how to make a spanner out of a screwdriver, using a spanner

and how to make a a glue gun out of a cigarette lighter and a glue gun….

all whilst using several £100’s worth of tools and materials…

    worthwhile

LOL, too early in the morning to laugh, and you made me cough 🙂

No fuss, no consfuse! Really really friendly TV experience, extremely…

The content is so big and diverse, there’s a channel for every taste!

The adverts on the tv aren’t an untruth, but like all the other companies support this business and they will stay in business
