New customers looking to take one of BT’s ultrafast broadband packages may like to know that the ISP has just discounted their 150Mbps and 500Mbps full fibre (FTTP) plans to £29.99 and £34.99 per month respectively, at least when taken without a phone service and on a 24-month contract (rising to £34.99 and £39.99 post-contract).
Most of BT’s broadband packages also include a £50 Reward Card (pre-paid Mastercard), as well as an included wireless router, unlimited data usage, Virus Protect, Parental Controls, the Stay Fast Guarantee (i.e. get the speeds they promise or £20 back) and free access to BT’s national network of public WiFi hotspots. Anybody taking the optional phone service will also get nuisance call blocking via Call Protect.
New customers can also add all sorts of optional extras too, such as pay TV, phone, 4G backup and various other enhancements at extra cost. Just remember that BT’s prices will also increase from 31st March, but they’re due to adopt a new policy from this summer (details).
