The Fusion Fibre Group (formerly FACTCO), which is a rural ISP and UK full fibre network builder, has today announced that their new Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) network in the North Yorkshire village of Escrick has finally begun to go live and connect its first customers.
The local deployment, which has been funded out of the operator’s own pocket (mainly because Quickline has scooped the public funding for much of this area), will ultimately see around 300 rural properties being covered by the new infrastructure.
Previously the best service that the community could access was via Openreach’s older FTTC (VDSL2) network and some parts were only able to get sub-24Mbps speeds.

Gary Spooner, Fusion Fibre Group’s Head of Nation Sales, said:
“We are so pleased to be able to offer this wonderful community access to future-proofed broadband ahead of the 2025 analogue switch-off. I’d like to thank the residents of Escrick for their continued cooperation throughout the build.”
Residential customers in the village can expect to pay from £24.99 per month for a 200Mbps (symmetric) speed with a free install on a 24-month plan, which rises to just £44.99 per month for their top 1000Mbps service. The package includes a wireless router, UK based support and a pledge of “no mid contract price rises“. In addition, there’s currently a discount that offers the first 3 months of service for free.
Are they a decent company I can get there serviced in my area Wigan but never heard of them ?
This is good news.
Escrick was getting neglected.
Quickline have/are doing a really good job in the villages around Selby.
Stamford bridge needs doing next by someone.
I am looking forward to changing from quicklink to you guys. I live in Escrick and am happy and ready, to change over.
