Broadband, phone and TV provider Virgin Media (O2) has this morning announced that customers of their pay TV service, at least those on their Virgin TV360 and IP-based Stream platforms, can now access four brand new streaming channels “at no extra cost“.
The four channels include Robot Wars (Ch235) from Passion Distribution; Demand Drama (Ch236) from All3Media International (aka – Banijay Entertainment); and both River Monsters (Ch239) and The Hotel Inspector (Ch253) from ITV Studios. The provider now offers over 40 streaming TV channels to customers and more are due to be added in the future.
Richard Vivian, VMO2’s Director of Programming and Value-Added Services, said: “We’re making unmissable content even easier to enjoy by expanding our line up of on demand content with the addition of four new streaming channels. Virgin TV customers can enjoy 24/7 access to a host of their favourite shows at no extra cost, giving them extra entertainment and value.”

Nobody watches these FAST channels. Virginmedia continues to lose ground to Comcast in the content stakes. VM might want to take a look at people stopping buying TV licenses and being able to get better/faster broadband elsewhere and keep an eye on their shrinking customer base.
I watch some of these FAST channels. I enjoy them
Can we get a quote from the AI robots regarding channel 235?
What corporate nonsense speak: “We’re making unmissable content even easier to enjoy by expanding our line up of on demand content with the addition of four new streaming channels. Virgin TV customers can enjoy 24/7 access to a host of their favourite shows at no extra cost, giving them extra entertainment and value.”
Great. 4 more channels of utter tripe I don’t want or will not watch
Im sure if you go on the ITVX app you can watch all these channels already…..
