A business update from technology provider Dotlines UK has today revealed that they’ve signed a 5-year contract with retail broadband provider Olilo, which will see the ISP deploy Dotlines Catena Cloud platform, which is an all-in-one system that’s designed to help internet providers to “seamlessly sell, deliver and manage end-to-end telecoms services“.
The aim of Catena is to help ISPs unify their various, siloed teams, systems and data within the company into one place – replacing legacy systems (customer management, billing, ordering, support tickets etc.) and meaning less manual work. Catena is developed by the team behind another broadband ISP, Carnival Internet UK, and has also been adopted by other retail providers like Neatley.
According to the business update, Olilo will pay an initial professional services set-up fee, a minimum monthly platform fee and a per subscriber (end customer) rate that increases at certain thresholds. The contract has an estimated minimum value of £1.1m over its term, and the Group expects to launch Catena with Olilo in Q4 2026.

This new contract for Catena follows Olilo’s previously established partnership with Dotlines to offer the Group’s Audra Safe router and cybersecurity solution to Olilo’s consumer customers. Olilo offers various broadband packages and provides customers with the option of choosing their own router or adopting the Olilo Hub 6, which is powered by Audra Safe.
Jaki Chowdhury, CEO of Dotlines, said:
“Since joining the AIM market in May, we have made strategic progress across our business. In our UK-based telecoms products and services division, we have secured our fourth ISP customer for Catena and have signed an agreement to expand our Carnival Internet customer base via an acquisition on attractive terms.”
The mention above of having signed a deal to acquire additional customers for Carnival Internet from another broadband provider is particularly interesting. Sadly, the announcement doesn’t name the other ISP involved, but in any case, it appears to be a tiny deal as the press release confirms that it only covers the “transfer of up to 227 customers to the Carnival Internet broadband service“.
“The Group will pay for the number of customers that are transferred, which will be satisfied by a set-off against the monthly invoices paid by the Seller to Dotlines for use of the Group’s Catena platform. In addition, the Group’s wholesale network provider, TalkTalk Communications Ltd (t/a PlatformX Communications (“PXC”)), has agreed to increase the connection bonus for the customers to be connected under the Acquisition. The connection bonus payment from PXC is expected to equate to approximately 70% of the amount that the Group will pay to the Seller,” said the announcement.
