A new UK ISP called Yayzi Broadband has announced that their new 1Gbps capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) network has just gone live in the large seaside resort town of Blackpool (Lancashire), which appears to be based off the infrastructure that the ITS Technology Group are currently deploying in the area.

Cityfibre has today announced that four new UK ISPs – Air Broadband, Highnet, Triangle Networks and Trunk Networks – have joined their growing national 1Gbps capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) network to launch consumer services, which complements existing deals with Vodafone, TalkTalk, Giganet and Zen Internet etc.

Cityfibre has announced that their plan to rollout a new 1Gbps capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) based broadband ISP network across the large UK town of Reading (Berkshire), the city of Gloucester (Gloucestershire) and Plymouth (Devon), costing £58m, £31m and £52m respectively, is due to begin in January 2021.

Fibre optic developer Cityfibre has announced that they’ve begun work to build their new 1Gbps capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) based broadband ISP network in the large West Sussex (England) town of Crawley, which is being supported by a private investment of “at least” £23 million.

Hampshire-based UK ISP Giganet, which offers Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) based broadband packages via both the Openreach and Cityfibre networks, has cut the one-off activation fee on their top 500Mbps and 900Mbps plans from £45 to just £1 as part of a new Black Friday discount.

One of the cheapest fixed home broadband ISPs in the UK market, Vodafone, has just become a little bit cheaper ahead of Black Friday this week. The operator has shaved a bit extra off the monthly cost of their various “Superfast” (FTTC) and “Gigafast” (FTTP via Openreach or Cityfibre) packages.

Cityfibre has today announced that popular UK broadband provider Zen Internet has just become the latest ISP to join their growing national Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) network, complementing others like TalkTalk and Vodafone. Until now Zen has been focused on selling Openreach’s products to homes.

Cityfibre has today announced that they intend to invest £42 million in order to cover the large North Yorkshire (England) town of Middlesbrough with access to their new 1Gbps capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband ISP network, which is being supported by civil engineering firm MAP Group (UK).
