The ITS Technology group has appointed Hub Network Services (HNS) to become the wholesale provider for Bristol City Council’s recently re-purposed BNET fibre optic Ethernet and broadband network, which was commercialised to supply Gigabit capable “full fibre” (FTTP) services to local businesses.

The ITS Technology group has improved the broadband connectivity to the Bolesworth Estate in rural South Cheshire (England) by installing a new “ultrafast” fixed wireless access network. The estate, which covers some 6,300+ acres, is home to various residential, business and leisure properties.

The ITS Technology Group has today signed a new multi-million pound 20-year concession deal with Nottingham City Council, which gives them access to deploy superfast broadband services along an existing 17km fibre optic network that follows the local tram routes (this will be extended to 100km).

But that’s not always the case and is proven by WarwickNet’s move to start rolling out a new fibre optic broadband network to businesses on Derby’s (East Midlands, England) Pride Park, which comes shortly after ITS Technology announced a new fixed wireless network for the same area.
