New UK ISP InternetTY (aka – Internet ThankYou), which is deploying a new gigabit-capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband network to 12,000+ premises in “rural and semi-urbanised areas” (starting in Staffordshire and North Lincolnshire, England), has now gone live in the village of a Ulceby.

Hull-based UK ISP KCOM, which serves broadband and phone customers across their network in East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, has decided to remove all of the data caps from their usage restricted internet access packages (mostly older legacy plans, as “unlimited” is more common) between now and 31st January 2021.

UK ISP KCOM, which is investing a further £100m to extend the availability of their 1Gbps Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband network, have today confirmed the next phase of their expansion. This will see them cross the Humber Bridge to cover 10,000 properties in North Lincolnshire for the first time.

Broadband ISP Quickline (part of the Bigblu group) has today won its third state aid supported UK broadband delivery contract in the space of a month. The latest deal is worth £1.8m and will see the operator expand their fixed wireless and “full fibre” network to cover 1,500 extra premises in rural parts of North Lincolnshire.

Some 120,000 homes in Lincolnshire (England) look set to benefit from a new gigabit-capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband network after the Quantum Group of Companies, which includes local ISP Quantum Air Fibre, acquired engineering firm QConex (formerly KConex) and is now preparing a major rollout in the county.

UK ISP Quickline, which is part of the Bigblu group, has today won another £8.1m contract that will see them extend their fibre optic fed Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) network to cover a further 8,000 premises (homes and businesses) in rural parts of Lincolnshire with “superfast” (30Mbps+) and “ultrafast” (100Mbps+) broadband.

Earlier this week Hull-based ISP KCOM launched a cheap £25 for 30Mbps offer (here) to help entice new customers on to their Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband network in East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire. Now Pure Broadband, which uses the same network, is giving existing users a way to get the same deal.

Hull-based UK ISP KCOM has launched a cheaper Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) based broadband package (it’s actually more of a special offer on an existing plan) to help broaden their appeal, which will give new customers an unlimited 30Mbps (15Mbps upload) service from just £25 per month (normally £40).

Hull-based UK ISP KCOM, which covers a big chunk of East Yorkshire with their gigabit-capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband network, has secured an additional 2 year funding facility from Lloyds Bank worth £30m. The extra investment will help expand their network into more of East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.
