Network operator Netomnia – supported by UK ISP YouFibre – appears to have started to put more focus on extending their 10Gbps capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP / XGS-PON) broadband lines into large residential buildings (Multi-Dwelling Units), with MDUs in Liverpool expected to see quite a bit of work.

Gigabit broadband ISP YouFibre, which sells plans via Netomnia and Cityfibre’s respective UK Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) networks, has introduced a new suite of standard pricing tariffs for all new customers – starting from only £1 a month for the first 3 months of service on their 1Gbps plan. Plus, they recently added a Social Tariff.

Mobile giant EE (BT) has officially become the first operator to make use of Freshwave‘s deployment of a new small cell based outdoor 4G and 5G mobile network in the central City of London area, which is currently in the pilot phase. O2 (VMO2) and Vodafone are expected to follow.

Gigabit broadband ISP YouFibre, which sells packages via Netomnia and Cityfibre’s respective Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) networks, has launched a new pre-Christmas broadband offer that will be available until 12th December. Packages now start at just £19 per month for 150Mbps and £29 for 920Mbps on an 18-month term.

Alternative network operator Netomnia – supported by UK ISP YouFibre – has revealed more details of their plan to extend a gigabit-capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband network to the city of Manchester and the Buckinghamshire town of Aylesbury. The two projects represent a combined investment of up to £31.8m.

Scotland-based business ISP Commsworld has entered into a new partnership with UK network operator Netomnia (ISP YouFibre), which aims to provide full fibre broadband connectivity to around 90,000 homes across North Lanarkshire over the next few years.

Alternative network builder Netomnia – supported by broadband ISP YouFibre – has today announced that their gigabit speed Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP / XGS-PON) network has now covered a total of 265,000 premises (up from 210k in August) and become the “first alt-net with presence in all four countries in the United Kingdom.”
