The current owners of internet provider Yayzi Broadband appear to be in the process of establishing a new provider called nufibre, which is due to launch in about a month and will be offering FTTP broadband packages via a selection of network operators (the website shows logos for Openreach, Trooli, Freedom Fibre, MS3, CityFibre and others).
The future situation around Yayzi has recently been open to a fair bit of speculation, which started earlier this year after a change in leadership and problems with their availability checker. For example, it’s not been possible for new customers in CityFibre areas to order a package for some time, and the checker’s results for other networks can also be a bit.. varied.
In addition, several of ISPreview’s readers recently spotted that Yayzi’s CEO, Martin Gardner, had also helped to setup another ISP called nufibre in May 2025 (company details), albeit this time registered in London rather than Blackpool (Lancashire), where Yayzi is registered.

According to Martin, nufibre has been setup as a completely separate entity with new partners to focus on selling layer 3 products (official announcement due soon), although there’s no escaping the fact that its website is currently promoting headline broadband packages and prices that appear almost identical to those of Yayzi. But Martin states that nufibre’s website is still a work in-progress and there are “lots of changes” due to be made to its packages (e.g. new routers), coverage etc. (i.e. agreements / commercials are still being finalised).
However, all of this has raised a few questions over the fate of Yayzi, although Martin states that they’re in the process of developing their own Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to help move beyond the existing system’s flaws. We’re told this means that Yayzi should be able to start accommodating new customers again sometime in the very near future, most likely this month (i.e. the original plan was to get it working again by the end of June, but it is taking a little longer).

Despite the logo appearing on nufibre’s front page, Netomnia has told us that they are not a partner of the provider and are trying to get their logo removed from nufibre’s website.

There is no USP with these Yayzi-related providers – they all buy a service off someone else, do a load of marketing about how they’re a disruptor, and then the customer numbers that they naturally reach due to having low prices starts to impact on the service they can deliver. Why on earth would anybody be prepared to offer them multiple chances?
The names alone are enough to put me off.
There have been worse names. “Who’s your broadband provider?” “No one!”
Thankfully, they are not taking on customers any more. https://noone.co.uk/contact-us
They advertising companies again that they can’t actually offer, they did this on Yayzi too. Said they offered Freedom Fibre but couldn’t so I highly doubt they’re offering all these
Nufibre can actually offer on these networks mentioned and a couple that’s not been added. Yayzi does offer services over FreedmFibre and have never advertised services we cannot.
I have my doubts but I guess we’ll see. Given you’ve mentioned Trooli and Community Fibre gives strong evidence you’ll be reselling PXC
As a (Happy) Yayzi customer I don’t like the sound of this at all. Is there a chance they could just disband Yayzi to avoid paying their debts and then just continue on with Nulfibre as a fresh new entity leaving all of the Yayzi customers in the lurch. I remember this situation occurred with AirFibre two years ago. Could this occur here?
Very interesting — so out of Yayzi (i.e. being launched by current or former management) we have Olilo, nufibre… Anyone else?
Maybe their Reddit offer was a bit too good and they want to close Yayzi to avoid having to offer this in the future.
2 weeks
I don’t think it’s fair to say “owners” when it’s just one owner. Not to mention it seems like this post has missed a lot of reported issues. Are we just going to ignore all the whistle blowers? As a Yayzi customer this puts me very on edge as I have no idea if I’m going to wake up with internet in the morning. What happened to all the people saying there was huge debt in the official Yayzi discord? Is this a way to get out of debt? Not to mention that Chris seems to not be a director of this but a new guy Luke from earth broadband? What’s his connection to all this? I think this post hasn’t even scratched the surface of this scheme.
I have the same concerns. Has there been any regulation changes since the fiasco with AirBroadband where people woke up without any internet which lasted for weeks with no way for them to sign up to a new ISP as their lines were locked to Airbroadband and CityFibre wouldn’t let you go elsewhere?
Lets look at the timeline, Yayzi migrate us all at the back end of last year, we have to set-up new DD’s and the address checker stops working, almost as if, I don’t know, they were on a stop sell from City Fiber for some reason? Just after that they say the address checker will be offline. Martin then starts Nufiber. I asked weeks ago for some honesty from Yayzi on it’s own forums about our future as customers, I even joked I was waiting to wake up one day for ISP Review to tell me we had been sold off, it took them two weeks to delete the thread without replying – clearly very much an actively managed platform and can’t think why I worried 😀 At this pint they seem to have just outsourced to Exascale for Yayzi customers and left us for dead. Ironically, since doing so it’s actually been reliable.
There’s a fair bit more to the story if you have a look at Companies House and the background of those involved in Yayzi
