NordVPN Tops 100 Terabits per second in Aggregate Network Capacity

The NordVPN service, which is a popular Virtual Private Network (VPN) provider, has announced that their global network has reached over 100 Terabits per second (Tbps) in aggregate network capacity, distributed across 211 locations in 135+ countries.

During busy (peak time) hours, slowdowns typically stem from issues with insufficient data capacity. NordVPN’s network has been upgraded to avoid or mitigate that as much as possible and should now be able to operate with significant headroom, so users can browse without noticing the load. “By design, servers are operated at roughly one‑third of their capacity, preserving burst performance during spikes,” said the operator.
