EE UK Reveals Pre-Christmas 4G LTE Mobile Broadband Rollout Plan
Mobile operator EE (4GEE) has announced that 10 more towns around the United Kingdom have now been enabled for its 4G (LTE at 1800MHz) based superfast Mobile Broadband network and a further 19 will go live before Christmas day.
The latest towns to go live with the new service include Bath, Bournemouth, Brighton, Cambridge, Darlington, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Northampton, Poole, Portsmouth and Redcar.

The next 19 locations, which are set to go live before Christmas, include Aberdeen, Braintree, Cheltenham, Chester, Dundee, Durham, Exeter, Gloucester, Grimsby, Ipswich, Lincoln, Middlesbrough, Norwich, Peterborough, Plymouth, Stoke-on-Trent, Swansea, Swindon, York.

“Smartphones and tablets on 4GEE are going to be a very popular present this Christmas as people across the UK continue to embrace mobile living and we make the superfast service available in even more places.”
By the end of 2013 EE will have enabled a total of 160 towns and cities around the United Kingdom and the operator thus remains on-target to reach 98% of the population by the end of 2014.
