Wednesday, Sep 19th, 2012 (1:04 pm) - Score 1,589

Communications provider Goscomb Technologies has increased the usage allowances of its superfast broadband packages, which use Fibre-to-the-Cabinet (FTTC) technology over BT’s 21CN network to deliver internet download speeds of up to 40Mbps (Megabits per second).

Prices start at £20 +vat a month (£24 inc. VAT) for the entry-level “Starter” package, which also carries a one-off installation cost of £78 +vat (includes the necessary BTOpenreach VDSL modem). This package comes with 40Mbps download speeds (2Mbps uploads), a 50GB monthly usage allowance, static ip and 12 month contract.

A speed boost of up to 80Mbps is also possible at the cost of £4 extra per month (on all other packages except the ‘Starter’ option).
