ISP LN Communications has expanded the reach of its 50Mbps (Megabits per second) capable fixed wireless broadband network to cover around 700 residents of Stathern Village in Leicestershire (England). Villages within the Vale of Belvoir are next on the list to receive the service.
Related packages from the local LNComms ISP, ILoveBroadband, start at just £14.99 inc. VAT per month for a 10Mbps (2Mbps upload) service with “unlimited” usage (Fair Use Policy) and a 12 month contract. By comparison the top 30Mbps (10Mbps upload) package costs £24.99 and includes the ability to “burst” its connection speed up to 50Mbps. Installation will set you back £90 and you can either use your own router or take a pre-configured one for £50.

LNComms now plans to expand its wireless network into villages within the Vale of Belvoir, which is a predominantly rural area that sits on the borders of Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire in England.
