The UK Internet Service Providers Association (ISPA) has today announced the official shortlist of potential winners for its 15th annual 2013 internet industry awards, which has seen broadband providers like PlusNet, KC and Hyperoptic gaining the most nominations across multiple categories.
Overall some 40 companies have been shortlisted across 15 categories, which includes gongs for ‘Best Superfast Broadband‘ and the ‘Customer Choice Award‘ among many more. The award ceremony itself is due to be held on 11th July 2013 at the Park Lane Sheraton Hotel in London (England).

Nicholas Lansman, ISPAs Secretary General, said:
“Congratulations to all those shortlisted for the 15th ISPAs. The two new categories again demonstrate the innovation of our industry and the diversity of the internet sector in the UK. The ISPA Awards are now 15 years old and it’s still great to be able to celebrate successful British businesses.
To be nominated is a big achievement, with rigorous technical testing and written entry forms analysed by expert judges or votes from customers. I look forward to the ceremony and best of luck to all entrants.”
Dana Tobak, Managing Director of Hyperoptic, said:
“This is fantastic news – to reach the final of four categories is a testament to the progress we have made since receiving the accolade of “Best New ISP” a year ago. Thank you to our customers and Hyper-champions for their support and nominating Hyperoptic for the Customer Choice award.”
It should be noted that the shortlist for the Internet Hero and Internet Villain gongs aren’t included because the ISPA has only just started taking nominations (here). Otherwise you can find out which ISPs have made it by checking the list below.
