Argos Upgrade 735 UK Stores to Offer FREE O2 WiFi Internet

High street giant Argos has announced a new deal with mobile operator O2 that will see their free public wireless Internet (wifi) hotspot technology being rolled out to all of the groups 735 stores across the United Kingdom.
According to the MD of Argos, John Walden, the primary reason for this development is due to “strong growth in mobile transactions with sales through mobile devices now accounting for 16% of our total sales“.
