The start of a new season tends to mean new promotions and BT’s consumer division has obliged by introducing several new offers on their various standard (ADSL) and superfast (FTTC) broadband packages, which among other things pushes their entry-level ‘up to’ 17Mbps service down to just £2.50 per month for the first 6 months (£8 thereafter).
New customers need to take BT’s Line Rental from the equivalent of £13.32 per month, when pre-paid for one year in advance, or £15.99 monthly. On top of that all broadband subscribers also gain access to the free BTSport TV content and the usual 18 month contract still applies. Otherwise the new offers are as follows.

At the time of writing those who follow our links through to BT’s website won’t see the new BTInfinity 1 promotion, which we’re told is because a potentially even cheaper deal is currently being prepared for that package. So it may be better to hold off on the BTInfinity 1 option until we know what the supposedly better offer is going to look like.
