Help Catch the Man Who Burgled VFast’s Broadband Van in Kent

Tuesday, December 8th, 2015 (8:02 am) - Score 1,493

Fixed wireless broadband ISP VFast (Orbitalnet), which covers most of Kent in the south east of England, has called upon the Internet to help catch a thief who stole equipment from one of their vans in Ashford yesterday. Luckily the van was recording his every move.

The theft itself took place yesterday morning in the Egerton part of Ashford, which is a modest sized rural village of around 1,000 people. A video of the incident has also been posted on Facebook by VFast’s Darren Brown, which you can view here (snapshot below – ignore the date on the original video as it was set incorrectly to 2012).

Unfortunately no crime reference number has been provided for the incident, although anybody with information about this individual should contact Kent Police on 01622 690690. Some locals have reported that there was a spate of van thefts last week during the same evening, between Ashford to St Mary’s Bay, with the criminal typically targeting work tools and or computer equipment.
