UK ISP Zen Internet Offers 6 Months FREE Unlimited Broadband

Tuesday, February 9th, 2016 (4:30 pm) - Score 1,228
zen internet uk isp

In a rare move the Rochdale-based ISP Zen Internet has slashed the cost of their ‘up to’ 17Mbps (ADSL2+) unlimited broadband service by offering the first six months of service for free (£16 per month thereafter), although line rental of £16.99 per month is still payable as per usual.

The package operates off a 12 month contract term, comes with an included wireless router (£6.95 delivery charge) and you also get a Static IP address. It’s not often that we see an offer like this from one of the higher rated small to medium sized ISPs, which makes it uniquely attractive for those who prefer a better quality of service than the big boys offer.

Zen also offer cashback(£42) on TopCashBack – I assume they are under some pressure to do that rather than take the high commercial ground and trade purely on reputation.

I can only assume they’re struggling for customer growth.

Must be difficult to keep growing when you’re not the cheapest and a large portion of users work on price, when you don’t have any bundles to offer for lock in and so on.

According to their subscriber report they are growing. They also offer 4 bundled packages with 12 month contracts with free basic routers.
