Following “successful beta trials” business ISP Elite has launched a new range of 40Mbps to 330Mbps capable Fibre-to-the-Premise (FTTP) based broadband products for their customers, partners and wholesale clients.
The update states that this is a “Nationwide FTTP” service, although there really should be a caveat to clarify that this is set against a backdrop of being based off Openreach’s (BT) patchwork network across the United Kingdom.
Overall Openreach’s FTTP network currently covers 330,000 premises, although it aims to reach 2 million by 2020 and thus more ISPs are now starting to take an interest.
Statement from Elite
FTTP is the latest in Elite’s product offerings and aims to connect businesses to Elite’s Next-Gen core network as quickly and efficiently as possible, while keeping the quality that Elite’s known for. This means customers can have access to one of the highest speed products on the market at some of the best prices.
Being one of the UK’s oldest Internet service providers, Elite’s mission is to bring quality internet connectivity to customers through its nationwide network. Elite have been servicing its extensive customer base for 19 years and in that time, its network has changed exponentially into what’s widely known as the network built on quality.
Elite have the ability to offer great SLA’s on FTTP as well as other additional benefits such as elevated best efforts, enabling us to offer a fully customisable solution fit for any business.
Elite claims that their FTTP starts at only £37 +vat per month and they add that “there’s no need for line rental” because it will be a “dedicated fibre” connection. Sadly the ISP does not display their packages in public, which is a common trend for business providers.
