Ultrafast UK Fibre Optic ISP Hyperoptic Wins Broadband Pioneer Award

Internet provider Hyperoptic, which specialises in deploying 1Gbps capable Fibre-to-the-Premise / Building (FTTP/B) based broadband networks to big residential and business buildings in 20 UK cities, has won the “Broadband Pioneer” award at last night’s World Communications Awards.

The World Communication Awards are described as being the “largest awards ceremony in global telecoms” and Hyperoptic was up against some stiff competition in the Pioneer category, with ITS Technology Group Ltd, Openreach (BT) and Telkom Indonesia all hoping to win.
