ISP BT Bundle FREE Amazon Echo with UK Broadband Discounts

Tuesday, Sep 25th, 2018 (3:36 pm) - Score 5,734

BT’s consumer ISP division has sweetened their current discounts on some ADSL2+, FTTC (VDSL2), FTTP and G.fast based broadband and phone packages by throwing in a “freeAmazon Echo (2nd Generation) smart speaker with new orders, which is on top of their existing reward cards (Prepaid Mastercards up to £100).

Subscribers can expect to receive an 18 month contract term, phone line rental, unlimited usage, free “unlimited” UK weekend calls, a wireless router (Smart Hub), Cloud storage, Virus Protect, Parental Controls, Call Protect (stops nuisance calls), free access to BT’s national network of WiFi hotspots and SmartTalk (voice calls over Wi-Fi/4G).

As usual the latest offers are only available to new customers and will be open to order until 4th October 2018, before reverting back to something else. We note that the included Amazon Echo is only available on a few of the superfast packages, not all of them (see below).

3rd gen Echo has a rumoured release according to various tech sites just before christmas. I expect the 2nd gen devices will be very cheap by then if people wants one.
