Utility infrastructure provider GTC (Brookfield Utilities UK / OFNL) has announced that a sixth ISP – BreezTel – is joining their platform and will thus be able to offer services over their Gigabit capable Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH/P) network, which is being deployed to some new build home developments.
At present it’s already possible to buy related services via several different ISPs on GTC’s open access fibre network including Seethelight, VFast, Direct Save Telecom, Pure Broadband and Love Your Broadband. Each provider tends to offer a near identical choice of packages and residential users are usually able to take average speeds of up to 360Mbps.
By the looks of it Breeztel appears to follow roughly the same mould and pricing, although we struggled to read the ‘Ultra Fast Breeze Broadband‘ summary of packages on their website (it’s a very grainy low-res image) and most of their details appear to be hidden behind offline sign-up forms.
Tom Brough, GTC’s Sales and Marketing Director, said:
“We pride ourselves on the speed and quality of the fibre broadband networks that we provide, and that our fibre broadband connections are fully completed before the homeowner moves in. Just as important, however, is the fact that our network is open to any provider that wishes to offer its services, giving our customers genuine choice, enabling them to choose the services and products that best meet their needs. With Breeztel joining our network, our customers now have six dedicated residential ISPs and a whole range of service packages to choose from.”
Dr. Jude Nzeako, Breeztel, said:
“Breeztel is a one-stop shop for all communication services for homes and businesses. We are delighted to be part of the GTC fibre network, because the open-access infrastructure offered by GTC gives us an unrestricted opportunity and capacity to offer our customers the very best available in entertainment and fibre broadband.
We aim to build long-lasting relationships with our customers by ensuring that they enjoy uninterrupted services, backed by 24-hour technical support.”
End.
