Mobile operator EE (BT) has enhanced their response to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) crisis by announcing that it will enable unlimited mobile data (mobile broadband) for all NHS staff for the next six months. The offer is set to be supported, from today, with a TV campaign featuring Kevin Bacon (naturally).
All that NHS workers have to do is register online with a valid NHS email address to receive the new offer – this includes those staff already receiving discounts on their monthly mobile plans from EE. They’ll then receive a text message confirming that the unlimited data is on their account, until 9th October 2020.
Marc Allera, CEO of BT’s Consumer Division, said: “We hope this gives NHS staff one less thing to worry about. They can keep in touch with friends and family and use the internet without worrying about using up their data. Along with the discount we already provide, this is a thank you from all of us at EE to those in the NHS that are working so hard for us all.”

A nice gesture. Sadly, many NHS staff will likely be far too busy, during this crisis, to benefit :-(.
That’s the point… they won’t have time at home but will whilst commuting or grabbing a quick coffee.
It wont recognise my welsh email address. Told me it wasnt valid
Has to be an official NHS email address normally NHS.Net (not personal email address)
like if you your a student or work for a school you have a edu address to get educational discounts (like really cheap office 365 and computer discounts)
Hi this is totally incorrect. It does not apply to mobile broadband. It is only available for mobile phone contracts.
