Rural focused full fibre broadband ISP Gigaclear has today, for the first time, entered into a “special partnership” with Sky TV (Comcast) that will enable them to bundle their 300Mbps ultrafast internet access product with the Sky Ultimate TV (inc. Netflix) package for a discounted monthly price (saving £26 a month).
New customers who take the bundle will pay a total of £59 per month for the 18-month minimum contract term (£85 thereafter), plus a small £20 one-off setup fee for Sky TV. As part of that you’ll receive Gigaclear’s 300Mbps service (inc. unlimited usage, Smart Mesh WiFi kit etc.) and the Sky Ultimate TV package with over 340 channels (inc. Sky Q Box, Dish + Netflix).
The promotion will be available to order until 18th December 2020 and in order to benefit you’ll need to use the promo code TEAMTV during the checkout (order) process. Both installations will be planned separately but at the times and dates that suit you.
Naturally, you’ll only be able to benefit from this if you’re lucky to be covered by one of Gigaclear’s gigabit capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) deployments, which exist across various parts of rural England. At present the operator’s network covers around 130,000 premises, although they have an ambition to reach 500,000 rural properties by 2023 (here).

I was expecting to read that the Sky channels would be delivered down the broadband. Maybe sometime.
I would prefer to see some progress in deploying FTTP to the BDUK areas that are running years late.
