Mobile operator Vodafone UK has launched a new offer that gives 5 times more data (mobile broadband) alongside their various 30 day Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) based SIM Only bundles. For example, their entry-level £10 bundle now comes with 15GB of data (up from 3GB), as well as unlimited texts and 250 minutes of calls.
The bundles all run off short 30-day terms and any unused allowances will roll into the next 30 days. The only exception to this new 5x offer on data is their unlimited data plan, which remains unchanged for obvious reasons. Otherwise this new promotion is expected to be available until 15th January 2020. See the bundles.
In the small print, “your price will rise by x% every year”.
No thanks.
Every mobile provider has that fine text.
Not every mobile operator.
But its a 30 day contract, so you can leave. And who doesn’t have that in the small print these days?
One of the term “When your fourth Pay as you go Bundle is renewed, your data allowance will return to your previous allowance” suggests that it is limited for four months (unless my interpretation is incorrect).
@Nimit Arora, limited to three months, it’s only a three month data promotion. From your 4th month you are back to the normal (low) amount of data.
Will we ever see LTE-A in rural areas?
Voxi is cheaper for unlimited but also they tend to break their meter a lot. But because Voxi is also Voda I found out (by accident) that you can use vodafone’s pay monthly APN to get a better speed. I often get 130+mbps upload from about 8Pm until mid morning.
Sorry here’s the proof I forgot to add before

Can you not Google?
The one I have on my phone besides voxi is wap.vodafone.co.uk.

And even with 5 times data still rubbish value for money with many suppliers offering twice as much for half the price
