Some customers of BT’s broadband powered UK Pay TV service may be pleased to learn that, ahead of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, the provider has today added the ‘Eurosport 1‘ and ‘Eurosport 2‘ channels to their Big Sport and VIP packages, with no increase in monthly costs.
Related on-demand content will also be available via the BT Player app, as well as access on the go through the BT TV app. As an Official Olympic Broadcaster, viewers can thus look forward to Eurosport’s coverage of this summer’s Olympic Games in Tokyo (assuming mutations of COVID-19 don’t throw yet another spanner into the works of that plan, like it did last year).
Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 will be available on channel 412 and 413, while customers on the VIP package will also be able to watch both channels in HD at 435 and 436. Big Sport customers can access HD channels through the BT HD/Combi HD Add On.
Siena Pakington, BT’s Content Director, said:
“The addition of Eurosport to our flexible TV packages makes BT TV the destination for sports fans. With an exciting spring and summer of sport coming up, our customers will be ready to enjoy all the action from the comfort of their own home.”
End.
pity you HAVE to have sky sports packages to get them ,not available with just the bt sport channels
Eurosport monthly pass costs £6.99 and a £39.99 for the annual pass.
Interesting move considering you had to lose these channels if you moved to the NowTV packs. I wonder if this is BT trying to re-expand their channel offering.
in January Eurosport normally have a sale on £20 for 1 year. Handy for BT to put a nice EPG for me to turn them off and watch my beloved British bikes on the Apple app.
I have the full bt package but no eurosport is appearing on my tv guide. Has anyone got it yet?
EUROSPORT 1 and 2 have appeared but HD channels not working yet
Yes I have
